Frontiera

A catalogue in a tabloid format dedicated to the event Frontiera. Passaggi metropolitani realised for the Bergamo Film Meeting 2009.
It documents a wide-ranging project born from the intertwining of cinema, visual arts and narrative.
It establishes some of the thematic nodes addressed by the authors and artists involved, building a mosaic of reflections belonging to the artistic, cinematographic and literary spheres; different approaches contained within a common framework dedicated to the image of the “frontier”.

The special guest is Dan Perjovschi, an internationally renowned artist who has signed the four inside pages of the catalogue, creating a series of drawings on the themes of the city, work, immigration, marginalisation and globalisation, born after a visit to the city of Bergamo.

Another important presence is Hanna Collins an English artist and director; the catalogue presents Solitude and Company, a video in which the author investigates the internal forms of an abandoned factory, animating it with voices and stories.

Lastly, there is the intervention of the young artist Filippo Pirini in the installation Rockets and the live media Plotterflux by crew Bergamasterz.
