Premio OAB Architettura Bergamo

First edition 2010

25,00

In the first decade of the 2000s, in the transformations of the landscape in the province of Bergamo, traces of an architecture attentive to the territory finally reappeared, revealing itself with the pride of belonging to a contemporary European culture that respects the common heritage.
This attention stems from the awareness of the historical necessity to reveal one’s own time and leave on its territory the signs of the technological evolution of its era.
The 2010 OAB Architecture Prize was born out of a desire to recognize and celebrate those designers who, with tenacity and the collaboration of local businesses, have been able to respond to the needs of their clients with works that have produced changes in the places, enhancing and increasing the local cultural offer, ordering and purifying the subtle balances between the built environment and the surrounding landscape.

The book contains the project files, illustrations and photographs of all 105 works entered in the Award, including the 16 selected and those awarded in Best Public Architecture, Best Private Architecture, Best Women’s Architecture, Best Architecture under 40.
