Tell a Vision

Video art between history and criticism

16,00

In an unprecedented journey through the history of video art, Fabiola Naldi presents new critical perspectives and interpretations based on an intense re-reading of the avant-garde.
The author analyses the contemporary video art scene through essays, articles, and critical texts, some unpublished, presenting the many facets of personal research that began in the early 2000s and is now, for the first time, composed of a single, multifaceted vision.

Fabiola Naldi, art critic and independent curator, teaches Expressive Problems of the Contemporary at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna and Multimedia Arts Theory at the Academy of Carrara in Bergamo.
He is a news correspondent for Flash Art and since the early 2000s, he has been working on video and contamination between visual arts, music and media.
He conceived and curated the ArtTV programme for Match Music Satellite (2000/02), and since 2000 he has been a juror for the Videoclip Indipendente award.
Among his publications: Do The Right Wall/Fai Il Muro Giusto (Edizioni MAMbo, Bologna 2011); I’ll be your mirror (Cooper & Castelvecchi, Roma 2003).
