Facevamo Teatro

The puppeteers’ lives of Giuseppina Cazzaniga and Benedetto Ravasio are described, between anecdote and chronicle, in essays by Lorenzo Pezzica and Francesca Cecconi edited by Luca Loglio.
The couple went through the complex landscape of Italy in the 20th century, placing artistic research at the center of their life choice. They confronted and collided with social transformations that guided the evolution of Figure Theater, bequeathing us a heritage that from tradition projects us into the future.
The book is enriched by previously unpublished images from the historical archives of the Ravasio Foundation.
